This BINDER houses EVERYTHING students and families need to keep up-to date with what is going on at school.  Gone are the days of wrinkled     papers and lost notes, newsletters, or calendars!  No more searching the house to find homework or notes.  Everything you need is in one book!  Third Grade ROCKS books are important!  They help students establish good organizational skills- skills that can carry on throughout their time in school. 

Tips to remember:

Do!

· Take very good care of your Binder– we will be using it all year long

· Take your Binder home every day and bring it back to school the next morning

· Show your parents your Binder every night and go over any homework or returned work with them

· Put your homework back inside your Binder

Don’t!

· Leave your Binder at home, in the car, or at a friend’s house

· Get your Binder Dirty

· Don’t make any marks or drawings in or on your Binder

· Put extra papers in your Binder

· Take pages out of your Binder– leave everything in your book (unless you are told to take them out)
